Green Pencils Ltd is an Innovative Green Manufacturer founded in 2012 with the twin primary objectives of:

2. Improving the social well-being, especially for the needier in the society.Our environment-friendly (green) pencils are:
A. Unique. Each looks completely different from the others (easy to identify, ideal in schools, offices etc).
B. Last longer, i.e. write more longer than other pencils. C. Can be branded / customised. Ideal for advertising, marketing, CSR, fund-raising, gift or promotional items, campaigns (including political campaigns) & of course, writing. By branding, the pencils become like a mobile billboards.Plastic Pens & Wooden Pencils:
Plastics are like diamonds; they last forever. Plastic pens are discarded after their short use-life span. They end up as plastic waste on our lands or waters (oceans, rivers lakes etc.) where they will exist for centuries. Green Pencils manufactures pens by recycling paper, thus reducing the plastic waste associated to plastic pens.
Globally, more than 15 billion pencils are used. A tree has to be cut down for one to use a wooden pencil. As our population increases, more pencils will be used, increasing the number of trees that have to be felled. However, discarded paper and paperboard make up roughly 26% of solid municipal waste in landfill sites. In line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 12, Responsible Consumption and Production, Green Pencils Ltd recycles paper thus reducing the quantity of paper going to the landfill (or littering) while at the same time preventing trees from being cut down.
